The HealthMap Project: Internet-Based Emerging Infectious Disease Intelligence
HealthMapThe HealthMap Project is a Web-based tool developed by researchers at the Boston Children's Hospital Informatics Program, aimed at increasing public awareness of disease surveillance. The tool integrates outbreak data from news sources, curated personal accounts and validated official alerts.
